how long do pcc's last?

since pcc's contain a rechargeable battery inside, how long do these usually last before it stops working?

I've had my 510 for over 4 months and have been using it everyday. Still seems to be working as good as when I first got it. Only problem is I dropped it onto concrete and the lid doesn't always want to stay closed.

yea thanks but i like the size and portability of the regular batteries. i don't want to carry a big cylinder looking pipe around

I think the general rule on any lithium ion battery is 300-500 charge cycles, or about 3 years, if I recall correctly.

A PCC battery should far outlast the e-cig batteries it is constantly recharging. The e-cig batteries are under a very heavy current draw each and every puff you take, which is why a typical e-cig battery only lasts for 200-300 cycles. But the PCC batteries are only used to charge other batteries which doesn't strain the pcc battery with high current draw, so they should last quite a while. Very possibly a few years.
