Knowing what I know now, I'd put my money toward 2 or 3 mega-batts, tornado/eGo, or a 510 mod - bartleby, eg., instead of a PCC.
Kind of what I did. Went for a big battery mod. It uses rechargeable batteries. I get two to four batteries for the price of one stock battery. That battery lasts me up to 24 hours of actual vaping which can be two days worth. The best part, I don't have to figure out what to do with old dead batteries that won't recharge, nearly as often.

Used to be that it was 'bad form' or impolite to mention mods in the new member forum but new members are much more informed than they used to be and many are ready for some suggestions and yet, there is still no better starter kit that is close to cig style/look, than the 510. That you get the atty that will drive batt mods later is just a bonus ;-)

I have a PCC, in the beginning it was in fact the only thing I had to load my 510. They are great, but these days I'd rather recommend an eGo. In this weather, no leaking problem, either, which for me is an even bigger plus than battery life.

If on the other hand you want to stick with normal 510s, I'd recommend getting a PCC.

I cannot, at the moment, recommend even looking at mods for 510s. Seems that Joye 510s run on 3.1 instead of 3.7 volts, as everybody thought, which means they get quite hot and sharp on anything 3.7 volts. Some people don't like that. You should at least know what you are doing before ordering one.
