How long do tanks last before you have to replace them?
Do you have to buy cartomizors to use tanks?
I never understood why people used tanks besides that fact it can hold more juice. Me, I use Clearomizors because they're cheaper.
I wanted to know if the life span is any longer than clearomizors are before you have to replace them.

When you say tanks what do you mean? There are many different types of tanks. Carto tanks, tanks for rebuildable atomizers. Most tanks last a very long time. The cartomizers still need to be replaced. In my case it is about once a week. Rebuildable atomizers lifespan can vary greatly, from a day to months, depending on the quality of the build. The tank in these two systems is merely there to hold juice. Should the tank break, it can be replaced. There is no system that is the best for everyone. I like my carto tank for everyday use because it does not leak and works great. I like my rebuildable atomizer (when I get it to work properly, lol) at home because the vape is as good as it gets but it does leak a little bit so I don't usually leave the house with it. So to answer your question, if you buy a cartomizer tank, then yes you have to buy cartomizers. Carto's are pretty cheap and I go through a carto about once a week. So its about a dollar fifty a week for the cartomizer.

To clarify some more, the tank in any of these systems lasts for as long as you own it before it breaks. If it breaks then you replace the glass or the o-rings should it start leaking. The tank should theoretically last for years or more. This does not mean that it works by itself. It requires other parts to work, either cartomizers or wick and coil depending on the system. I hope that helps clarify.
