I am just about to buy the evod starter kit, had previously used eroll but it just isn't cutting it. The atomizors are expensive and tanks to weenie and too finicky to clean and both too expensive to replace. I still don't understand the terms. The evod says bottom coil replacements. I get this, after a week or two or whenever the burnt taste or craving hits it's time to replace the bottom coil but is the clearomizor the part where you put the juice in? I get confused because I thought this was a "tank." Is a tank also called a clearomizer? And do they have to be replaced like the bottom coils? Or can they be washed and re-used? Thanks.

Below are some blog posts by ECF member Baditude that I highly recommend for someone new to vaping. These may help you with the terminology.

2. Advancing Up the Vaping Ladder with Egos and Mods
3. Proper terminology - Is it a carto, a tank, or what? A Guide to Juice Attachments.

Good move on your part making the upgrade, the Evod is one the best clearomizers ever made...IMO....the taste is really good and the maintenance is simple......yes the tank and the clearomizer in this case are one and the same and all it requires is a little rinsing and you're good to go, you can take out the coil and leave it in a cup with warm water for a couple of hours and then let it air dry for a day or so and you can actually re-use them a couple of times. The only draw back with the Evod is that you can not replace the Drip Tip....outside of that, it is a great little system.....IMO:)
