How long do tanks last ??

Do they last forever ?? Maybe like steel tanks ?? Or the glass will get cracked after some time?

The plastic ones can crack from having strong juice in them, glass may break if you drop it, steel would be a good option and my last forever, but we don't live for that long so we will never know.

The SS Tanks will out live us, the pyrex Glass ones are pretty dam strong and may also, then there is the Polycarbonate and the ones with the full 1/8'' walls will last a long long time as well, then there are some thin walled ones that last a long time to because of the material they are made from, then you have some out there that are not made of a good poly or not a polycarbonate at all and these can crack with certain juices that have cinnamon oil and some other products in the juice ( citric Acid ) that will shatter the tanks. If your going to buy one make sure your getting a good one and that doesn't mean it has to be expensive but you do get what you pay for in most instances, speak with the supplier before you buy and do a bit of research on the materials used for the tank, all plastic tanks are not the same.

I have some steel and pyrex glass tubes in the mail right now for my big daddy and lil' mama tanks. I'll repost my impressions and testings once I have acquired them and had an adequate amount of time to run them through the gauntlet
