Try baking it in the oven, I work on alot of older consoles (repair and modding them) and the Motherboard or PCB (Printed Circuit Board) alot of times needs to be cleaned. I wash them in the sink and then stick them the oven @ 117 degrees (no higher/lower) for 15 minutes exactly and pull them out. In about 5 minutes or so they are cooled off, I can hook them up to the wall straight out of the oven and they will never short circuit. I would assume since an atty is a heating element you could do the same thing to it as well. I have never messed up a board to do this, and have done it with many boards that have plastic connectors on them. When a PCB comes from the factory (before its boxed and shipped) they actually get the boards beyond 430 degrees after the cleaning process and during the soldering process so Im almost positive this shouldn't harm a simple atty. If I had an E-Cig (waiting on it in the mail) I would try it myself. For anymatter if anyone does approach this method be sure to blow all the excess water out of the atty before throwing it in the oven. Leave some feedback on how well it works if you try.

Put it in the oven at 150 degrees for 20 minutes.

Normally, you might be able to use a hairdryer, or any other number of methods to dry it out, but if you want to make sure and you want to make sure right now, put it in the oven.

I have two sets of atomizers that I rotate every week now. And the only reason I do this is because I give them a Coke bath once a week and want them to dry for at least a day.

I have definitely found they really need to dry a LOT before they will work well again.

Hey MMA, If you can get a hold of Everclear alcohol you woundnt need these remedies. :)
I usually drive out to Jersey to get it and it can be purchased online as well.
What I do is, let the atomizer soak for about 30 minutes, then irritate the vial/compartment then let site for another 30 minutes. You then take the atomizer out blow on it from the battery end and let sit for about 2 hours. Your atty will be completely cleaned and bone dry. It is HIGHLY recommended that you re-primer the atomizer by adding 2-3 drops of liquid, let sit for 5 minutes and repeat. You should be good to go. :D
