I quit analogs 5 months and 9 days ago; initially my taste buds changed over the first month and a half, however, 5 months in and I am still findings my taste buds to seem to be changing slowly as I continue to begin trying new foods and flavors that prior was off the menu so to speak. Congrats on the change RayRay!

Stopped smoking analogs 5 days ago(7 yr 1.5pk/day), and I kinda feel like my mouth tastes like analogs a lil still. How long before your taste will recover?

Btw vaping is addictive! I already have a kanger evod on the way with tons of liquid ordered! Lol.

Hm... few weeks? I don't remember exactly since it wasn't an "all at once" thing. Just over time would notice things. Particularly--unfortunately--ice cream tasted so much better. :)

5 days is still early. Just have fun with the vaping and you'll start to notice the changes as they roll in. Like the day I went to deal with property taxes and stopped outside to vape (it was a rare nice day... also, didn't feel like arguing with all those cops :) ). Sitting out on a bench and there's a breeze and I smell this lightly sweet scent. Start looking around and there's this tiny little, bushy looking plant with tiny little blue flowers about ten feet away.

It was a real OMG moment there. Used to be, I probably couldn't have smelled those tiny things if I shoved 'em up my nose. :)

I have yet to go through an "ah-ha" moment regarding my sense of taste or smell. I really was looking forward to that. It has been about one month (maybe an extra week) since I stopped buying smokes all together. Before that I took about two week of drastically reducing my smoking (from 1 PAD to nothing).

The one drastic change I have noticed is the smell of someone else smoking, no matter how far away, is an intense smell - in a bad way. I can also smell the clothes and hands of people who smoke - also in a bad way. I knew I smelled when I smoked, but it is a wow moment to smell others now. No wonder I used to obsessively washing my hands after smoking.

It took me about a week for my taste buds to recover, and food taste to explode. I used to load up on the ketchup and always thought it was a bland tomato taste. Now I put a much smaller amount on and the flavors sucker punch my taste buds! Smell is the same way as others have described. Heading to the north woods in two weeks here and can't wait to smell the air up there!

Yeah, stuff like that's been happening to me too. Like the amount of sugar/sweetner and cream I put in my coffee. I cut way back. The amount I was used to using made it taste like it was trying to be candy or something. :)
