Trouble is that when a lot of people say they have had atties that have last for many months, you find out they have actually been vaping with loads of different devices for all those months and not just with the 'one' atty, Or else you find out they only vape 1/2 a mill a day!..... or else they are a supplier..lol.
Yeah, I was thinking that as I was typing my reply.

In my case, I vape very close to the way I chainsmoked - my PV is my all day pacifier.

In any event, we all have different habits for how we vape, clean, don't clean, mod, etc. It's all gotta impact how the attys last. The only thing I'm sure of is that before I started I read tons of posts saying to think of attys as disposable, and I'm not finding that to be the case.

I must say the 510 atomizer is an amazing product.I have been using the same one now for 2 months(with no cleaning or mantinence)and it still works the same as the day I recieved it.I am impressed!:)The Wiz!
I'm with you - using the same one going on 10 weeks. After reading the posts here I expect it to die any day now.

Great posts. Thanks.

What is your cleaning procedure?

Just about every night blow out any juice in to a Kleenex. Roll Kleenex into a tube, stuff it into the atimizer, and prop it up. I learned it on a YouTube vido (thanks igettcha) called "DSE 901 E-CIG USER TIPS AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE". About once a week a run hot water through it and soak it in hot water for a few hours. Everything you vape should be water soluable, and the hot water gets what you miss.

Oh, and when you let you atimizer sit overnight it's bone dry. Make sure to put a drop on it in the morning or leave the cart on for a minute or so. Dry atimizer equals dead atimizer.

Agreed. Asking how long an atomizer lasts is meaningless unless you can qualify it with how much they vape, what PV they use, whether they drip or just top off, whether they rotate atomizers, whether they clean atomizers, how they clean atomizers, how often they clean atomizers and what type liquid they use.

PV: 801
liquid: pg based
amount: 3 ml/day
clean: just blowing once per month
carts or drip: just carts. i replace often
rotate: smoke 2 801s. about equal use
best: 1 mo 10 days and still going
2nd best: 1 mo 5 days and ?. i had a suck alot but hardly get anything issue. i washed it with hot water and put it away. its still put away.

My first 801 is dead without hope of resurrection. Im not really counting it because i was smoking analogs along with it and cant really document how much it was really used.

I have to admit that i have a really lousy record so far. my best has really only lasted 2 and a half weeks so far if i account for the smoking 2 at once.

I've had pretty good luck with atomizers so far.

901: 2 months and still going. I don't use it every day, though.
510: 1 month + and all 4 that I use are fine so far. Used heavily, every single day. Cleaned by soaking in vodka overnight when they feel cloggy to me.

Shortest lived: 88mm health e-cig model from ebay. I took two drags off it to test it out, put it on the charger, and never got another puff off it again.

510 - Yet another solvent! Or is it an excuse to start the day off with a drink?

901 atty - used almost exclusively for three months - as SPete pointed out. Maybe a week or so that it was not used during this time. I do not clean it with anything - I simply blow it out and drain overnight. I went on vacation the other day and I didn't blow it out as usual and I could really tell a difference.

Damn you!!!!lol:oops:

Your right!! I only started April 19 not March 18.

Thanks for your correction and wrapped with a heavy load of disappointment. To think I was off cigarettes for over 4 months. Its only 3 months and 2 days......

RN4081 atty life was 3 months. Still not bad.
