I first started vaping a few years back, and used e-cigs to give up smoking. I found it very effective, and enjoyed vaping in its own right rather than merely as a tobacco substitute. Eventually my charger died and I just quit altogether. Was under severe financial stress at the time.

I've relapsed a few times since then under varying circumstances. Eventually I enrolled in a university double degree course, and can assure you that around exam time the urge to smoke becomes strong! I'd long since thrown away my old vaping gear in one of a series of massive cleanups, and last round of exams I thought to check out the vaping scene and see how difficult it'd be to get some decent ecigs and ejuice. Being in Australia, getting juice with nicotine in it is a bit of a pain, but I'm pleased to see that customs still isn't preventing people from importing it.

Well, I can tell you that the technology has progressed *magnificently* in the past few years! My Ego-T starter kit arrived a few weeks back, and some nice juice from the US arrived two weeks ago or so, and these new batteries and vaporizing solutions (I now have two CE4s, a CE6 and a set of Boge cartomizers with tanks to choose between) leave the thing I used to vape with in the dust! I had been happy with it back then but it never really satisfied and did often leave me with an urge to smoke; it mostly made the urge manageable. The thick, heavy, tasty vapour that the modern gear produces leaves me in no doubt that I've upgraded from smoking. I'm also really impressed by how cheap this all is. I hope the people producing these products are proud of what they're doing, and hope the trend towards regulation in the Western world eventually gives way to common sense.

In March I'll hit 2 years. Started with ego type batteries and quickly moved to and Maxi-Roughstack V2 for longer battery life. Used that exclusively until Labor Day of this year and ordered a ProVari V2.Wish I had gotten the ProVari sooner . Also have a fully mechanical called the Chameleon made in Scotland. Drip almost exclusively ,cartos occasionally and delving into rebuildables.

I started Vaping 2 month ago, completly dropped the analogs 35 days ago. Still have 3.5 packs of analogs in the garage where I used to go to smoke. Not sure what to do with them yet. I use eGo spinners with Mega xl Cartos, carto tanks, T2, CE4, UDCT, Novas. Trying a bit of everything, but found for me the Mega XL Cartos work great and make things the simplest to carry. Just got an eroll too and thats a nice easy compact unit.

Been vaping for a little less than 2 months. Still smoke 4 or 5 analogs a day... Almost 2000 € after and still looking for the perfect vape (started with an Ego Tank kit, tried Stardusts, Vivi Novas, mini Vivi Novas, carto tank, GGTS, an Odysseus V2, Vision Eternity, Provari, Halo e juices - several, Vaperite - several, Alien Visions Boba's Bounty, Copper Creek House Blend, Dekang, tryed some DIY stuff, some French e juiced... currently trying the Provari with a DID D20 and quite happy with it, and seems like Boba's Bounty suits me quite well. Waiting for some Gorila Juice)... Still searching...

I started in August. Not completely analogs free yet, but very confident I am on my way, as soon as I find out how many and what kind of clearomizers I need. I just have to have one or two analogs in a week, but they are not as satisfying now as vaping. I think I am a little bit addicted to that burning smell of analogs. When I smell it, I want it. But then it doesn't taste good after all. And it is so amazing how many different flavors are available for us to try, it is like a new hobby for me. Couldn't convert my friend, however. She tried some sort of e-cigs, and she didn't like all those side effects of vaping.

I would have said analogues have far more side effects than vaping ;)
The only side effect I can think of with vaping is having to hydrate more.
