depends on the juice, and your pg/vg ratio. Anything with a chemical/perfume smell you should open the bottle for at least a day. Some of the simpler one note flavors could be ready from the start. Anything more complex or tobacco should steep at least a week probably.
I'm currently steeping too. It's hard to wait. You should look at the mtbakervapor forum under juices. There I found out some are good right out of the mailbox. spearmint, cinnamon roll, moo juice, and banana cream pie were recommended to me (from my list) as ones I could vape right away.
It depends, ordered a bottle of Kona Cream from Vaperite. And was the bomb. Also got a free sample of their blueberry pancake. Also amazing. So my next order? Same juices. Totally different. Nowhere near the same color or flavor. So I looked at that first kona....was made about 3 months before I got it, no date on the sample.
New bottles were made about a week prior to being in my hand. Had to steep all the bottles in that second order (5 total) for about a month before they came around.
Don't know why it took that long but it did.

I just got some chocolate from somewhere else today. Until then, I was trying to vape almond extract, not very satisfying without vapor. So now I am vaping chocolate covered almonds-- my own invention. It does taste rather chemical-ey, but better than smoking.
The other day when I was ordering from Mt. Baker, I asked-- and came to the conclusion that simpler would be quicker. My selection was toasted almond, cranberry (I live in cranberry country), hazelnut, and madagascar vanilla. Now, which of those would be the best to choose first?
Everything I have gotten from them has been good from the start. But they do get better after a week or so. I try to keep a order ahead so they have plenty of time to sit.
SPINFUEL: Do you “Steep” your eLiquids before they are shipped to customers? If so, how long, on average, does it take to steep?
MT Baker Vapor: We ship out a fresh bottle to our customer. Always mixed within 24 hours of their order. It can take 2 – 3 weeks for the juice to reach its full potential depending on how much VG was loaded into their mix.
SPINFUEL: Is your eJuice ‘ready to vape’ or do you recommend ‘home steeping’ for a day or so?
MT Baker Vapor: Like wine the e juice just gets better with age. Yes a lot of people pop open their package from us and enjoy our products. I will mix a bottle and instantly vape it myself. For more complicated flavors though like our RY4 it should sit for a little while. Home Steeping is always recommended but some do not think it is required. In the end it ultimately depends on the customer and what they want to enjoy out of our product.
