I've left some cartos that I filled myself on the shelf for 8 months and vaped them. None were dried out and I had no issues doing this. If it were me, I would toss those cartos. IMO something could be wrong with them. Cartos are cheap enough that I would not worry about it. Course, I don't know how many you have. You could try filling one with juice and see how it goes.

No, it's not normal. They should be fine after a year in storage--not at their prime, mind you, but they shouldn't be dry.

Have you tried refilling them with a little juice? Or even a few drops of unflavored? Or plain PG or VG? Just to see if you can get them going again?

Are you sure they didn't send you blanks?

I just looked up my order date...it was about 15 months ago. Nope, not blanks...I can get a tiny taste of the flavors that they are supposed to be. I bought about 10 packs of 5, so 50 in total. I have no flavorless juice to try and get them going. Do you think I should just cut my losses and throw them out or contact V4L and see if they can suggest something.

You may contact them, but I have no idea what they might suggest other than you get some new ones. :D

I'd just get new ones and some juice to refill them--they need to be topped off anyway.

Good luck!

They don't crackle or pop at all when I fire up the battery either.

If they are indeed dry they won't crackle or pop. They'll burn!

Are your batteries in good working order? Do you have a multimeter to check the voltage (of your batteries) and the resistance of your cartomizers? Try cleaning all the threads--on your batteries, chargers and cartomizers with 91% Isopropyl alcohol.

After 15 months your batteries may be dead--they will die if not used for such a long time.
