While reading through the forum will give you a better idea. I do not believe you or any of us will ever have it figured out, things are always changing and improving. You will make the next step once you choose which model you want to start off with, not till you are working with a model and you get the feel of what works for you and what does not, can you then take the next step. After you get your feet wet you can than start to work on what juice may be best for you and then step into the wonderful world of MODS. Keep reading and absorbing what you can but the sooner you jump into the "pool" of vaping the greater the enjoyment will be.

Always remember if you are not sure of something and you can not find it here throughout the forum just ask, you will not believe the information everyone is willing to share. So enjoy...

Once you decide on a PV it's dependent on the individual as to how long it takes to "get the hang of it". It is much different than smoking but it's also similar. It'll take turn to learn the little ways to vape. I think it took me about a month before I felt I had a good handle on it. Patience is important. Hang in there and you'll make it.

I also agree. With the exception of my very first device (an overpriced impulse buy at the mall), every other purchase I've made has been a direct result of research on this forum. It's an invaluable tool. Like most everyone, I stuck with the 'basic' devices for several months and, during that time, continued to learn about the different liquids and cart stuffing materials/methods. But then I jumped into the wonderful world of mods and have not looked back.

I've been vaping for over 7 months and am still learning/refining my techniques.

After 9 1/2 months I am still learning. I will think I got it figured out and them something goes wrong. I am constantly reading the forum and learning different things.

Right now I am looking for the ultimate mod. I have tried a couple but am not satisfied. I want one that works good, produces a ton of vapar and a good TH. Anybody know what this is.

I absolutely adore my Prodigy V1 (for home use) and Protege (for on-the-go use). For me, both devices provide exactly what you described. The only downside to them is they spoiled the normal 510 for me. I had technical issues a few weeks ago and had to revert to my regular 510 backup. It seemed so weak and wimpy in comparison.

I'm sorely tempted by the Prodigy V2. I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out. ;)

You're not alone, Sandi, many of us are going through the same thing. There's so much information to read on this forum that it becomes more confusing. Part of the fun is the constant learning, but that's after the initial frustration of just understanding vaping in general. It will click in for you and become easier to understand what people are talking about.

Don't worry about asking questions in the "New Members Forum". Sometimes it just takes another person's way of saying something to have it make sense.

This thread has great info for 510 users. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ng-you-ever-wanted-know-about-your-510-a.html

Congratulations and glad you're here!
