I would like to know how long you plan on using your ecig. Many members of this community are former smokers, some of which desired to quit smoking.

Looking for alternatives to smoking was a drag (pun intended) until the first ecig was introduced.

As a current vaper do, you plan on kicking the new habit?

I tend to take prolonged breaks just because. But I do love vaping.

I enjoy vaping, from the small amounts of nicotine which help relieve stress (Which I can always use), to the social aspect. I have bad addictive tendencies so having this which really doesn't pose any harm, but allows me to still smoke essentially is very helpful. I plan on vaping for a good while to come, recently started making my own juice so the cost of vaping just keeps getting lower and lower.

Every one's different. If I get down to 0nic I'll probably still vape if for nothing more than the social aspect and to give me something to do with my hands. That said though I used to say I'd never quit smoking, so.....

Folks quit vaping all the time and don't go back to smoking.
If they relaps back to vaping I don't think it'd be as bad as going back on the stinkies, for sure.

I was a 40 year smoker so even if it takes me 10 years to get to 0nic I'm still better off than if I'd smoked for 50 years. I'd prolly be dead BTW.

Till I die or start smoking again. Call it 50 years or so.

Due to regulation and taxation I can no-longer afford to smoke, so I got a Vape.. Regardless what the Government does, I figure as long as I can get a hold of glycerine and nicotine I can vape. Might have to start growing and extracting our own flavorings at some point

GrimmGreen perfectly sums up my feelings about vaping in this video:

Point being, vaping is not a means to an end for me. Rather, it's an enjoyable activity that I will continue to engage in for quite some time. I'm very much into cooking and collecting fragrances (colognes, Japanese incense, candles and the like) and for me, vaping is simply another way to stimulate my sense of taste and smell.

That's like asking someone why did you smoke cigarettes ......or are you going to stay on your diet ..........

When I started vaping, I did it without any vision of quitting vaping in mind. I just wanted to get off the cigarettes.
Now, 17 months later, I've cut my nicotine in half, but I really still enjoy the heck out of vaping, and I don't see quitting any time soon.

The thing with smoking is I really, really despised it for about the last ten years before I started vaping. If I ever get to the point where I am tired of it, or start hating myself for it, it will be time to quit.

For now, I'm a happy vaper!
