Or generic egos like I have and paid under $6 for have lasted me about 5 months so far and none dead yet or run down quick.

Just bought 4 more of them for $3.50 each VV evod style 650 MA.

    Exactly.

That is why it is a Tough Question to Answer when someone asks how long will a Battery Last.

some of those are the original coils I just pulled out the silica rinsed and put in cotton. The rest were 1.8 and I recoiled to 2.0 with 32 ga Kanthal.
Same with my Evod coils. About 50/50 right now on the coils. I have not had any actual coils go bad. I have messed up a couple while rewicking and recoiled them.
With tootle puffing the actual coil almost never goes bad.

yes in an older battery resistance rises and if you keep trying to draw 20 amps when it can no longer supply it bad things will happen.
you should notice decreased time between charges long before then, but if like me you only draw a few amps it is not a problem.

    But why they should rest?
Because the battery requires time to cool to ambient and to re-order it's internal electrical charge state after use and after charging. Similarly, they should not be taken directly off the charger and put in the mod.

Because they get tired? Well in a way. I think it is to let the chemical processes stabilize.
Again not a real issue in lower drain applications.
You know, I tried to find an answer to my question, and the only reference I've got was related to testing a battery, so they like to rest a battery to have a more repeatable results. And nothing about degradation of a battery due to use immediate after charging. But I may miss something, who knows...
