"LIKES" is an easy and wonderful way of telling a member how you feel about what they had posted. It's also a good way to show support to someone's point of view in the many discussions throughout ECF.

My current stats:

Likes given: 125
Number of posts: 128

What are your stats? :)

I don't know (I'll come back after checking) but am pretty sure I give more than I get. I've been here around a year and a half or so and have noticed a fairly recent trend. It seems new members don't say thanks much anymore. By that I mean they don't hit the "like" button nor post a "thanks." I'm not saying new members DON'T say thanks just that I don't see as many doing it as I used to see. Maybe its just a sign of the times in general on and offline?

Edit: Received 2403 Given 2869
And thinking about it there was a thread a while back one "Why do you give thanks?" I said :
If it made me laugh.
If someone showed inordinate kindness to anyone.
If I learned something valuable to me whether I like the info or not.
If I'm replying to someone I'm quoting (to flag them.)
And if someone tried to help me of course.
