Ok, so I am addicted to this whole vaping thing. I am 20 days in and I have 3 batteries, about 15 bottles of ejuices, 2 Kanger T3S and 1 Mini Protank II. Am I going over the top? I like different flavors so I like having the tanks handy. But I seem to just keep buying. Does it slow down after a while? How many do most people have?

Also, what is a good suggestion when I want to upgrade or are my Kanger products good enough? I like a good throat hit and good vape so I know I am getting something.

Got you beat: 2 batts, MVP2, VV3, 4 MT3S, 1 PT3 Mini, 6 Evod Glass, 1 iClear30, and about 30 bottles of liquid (more on the way). Also 20 replacement coils. I'm also at about the same pace as you time-wise.

I'd say you need to buy some more stuff! :D

When vaping goes from being your gateway to quit smoking, to being a hobby, that's when it starts to get expensive. I think it's safe to say just about every one on this forum has splurged once or twice (or 50 times) when buying devices/juices/etc. I honestly don't even want to know how much I've spent on this hobby. I just keep telling myself that the re-sell value on most of my devices is quite good, so I guess I have that little pillow.

As for the juices....well sh**.

Oh No! Another thread that makes me read something that somebody else has and say "ooh, shiny!" And then I want one. Here's my moderate collection:
Vision spinner 1300
Ego twist 1100
Ego T (600...I think)
A mini ego battery
Kamry K101 mech
Gripper mech
MVP 2, petal
And my fave...ProVari Mini green/blue hybrid

I have a buch of cheap vivi nova tanks, several pro tanks and pro tank mini's, a Davide tank, an Aspire tank and my faves....2 IBtanked carto tanks
No rebuildables or drippers, yet (lol).

I have passed along a few other batteries and toppers to friends and family, and will probably give away a few more as I don't use most of them since my ProVari joined the collection. Now my main problem is I want another one.

Now that you have received a bunch of answers OP, please don't come down with a case of shiny-itis! It's contagious and gets expensive fast.

3 batteries isn't too many, use a felt tip pen & number them. this allows for good rotation, which will cause your batteries to last longer.

And as another poster stated, depending on where one lives, power outages were frequent this past winter. Not just in the NE either, there were winter storms & outages across much of the US & Canada.

I keep extra batteries for all of my devices, not just my vaping devices, an extra one for each notebook & a DC charger for my cell phone & slimline vaping battery.

Draining the batteries too low frequently will kill them faster than anything. That's with any battery.

I agree with the first post. I personally have my main battery with a cigalike backup. One ce4 will also get kanger t3s its good stuff man!

You might as well just get an Aerotank if you can afford it. You will likely be getting one anyways after you get bored with your T3S...trust me, I've been there.

Thanks guys and girls! You are making feel a whole lot better about this "hobby" and my addiction. Now I am off to buy more to catch up.

Next question, what is a VV/VW device?
Your normal battery loses voltage during the discharge. My halo goes from 4.2v off the charger, drops to 4.1 rather quickly, then gradually falls off to about 3.8 or 3.7 when I get the blinking "time to charge" light.

In time, you will notice this voltage change in decreased flavor and vapor.

A Variable voltage or variable wattage device allows you to change the voltage to your topper, either up or down, your preference. But for me, the big advantage is that they give "regulated voltage". If I set it to 3.9 volts, I get 3.9 volts for the entire discharge cycle. For that alone, I bought my VV.

There are many other threads dealing with the differences and relative merits of var volt vs var watts.

But most likely, your next hardware purchase might be one of these.

As we know, more is better, so too much is just about right. You are nowhere near too much yet. Keep working on it. I have 8 2000 mAh Efest IMR batteries I rotate through my mechs, and I keep about 400 ml of juice on hand. I've pretty much settled in on what I have. As for your Kanger products, if they serve you well giving satisfying vapes there's nothing wrong with them.

For my own part I found that my Protank just didn't deliver for me on consistency, flavor, or vapor, so I ended up going the mech/RBA route. Not everyone does that, and many just truck on with their Evod or Protank. It's a matter of whether you are getting the vape you want.

I love that. It perfectly sums up the endless pursuit of bettering one's collection of vaping hardware.

I haven't even done an inventory of mine yet, so I guess I'll take the opportunity. Most of mine's beginner-level stuff though. All except one item, in fact, are off-the-shelf cigalikes and eGo clone hardware. It has served me quite well so far, but just recently I've found myself pushing the limits of my rigs, and in turn, feeling the need for an actual mod to power my one 510 tank. I'm sure that'll be the beginning of a long, costly foray into the expansive and ever-growing world of APVs.

I have begun to expand my e-juice assortment, though, which is fun.

No one will likely care about my simple, beginner's level collection, but I just want to take the opportunity to do something I haven't done since I started vaping over three months ago: actually inventory all of it. So here goes...

Hardware
- 1 x G50 brass/stainless mega tank w/ 2 x coils
(...and nothing yet to power it. But that will change soon. Soon, I say!)
- 1 x Halo Triton VV 900mAh battery (KR808-D1 + proprietary "pseudo-eGo" threading)
- 2 x Halo Triton 650mAh batteries (same as above)
- 4 x Halo Triton clear tanks
- 8 x Halo Triton 1.9Ω coils
- 4 x Halo Triton 2.7Ω coils
- 1 x Halo Triton large cone
- 2 x Halo Triton USB chargers
- 2 x Halo AC adapters
- 2 x Halo G6 automatic 78mm 280mAh batteries (KR808-D1 threading)
- 1 x Halo G6 manual 78mm 280mAh battery (same as above)
- 1 x Halo G6 clear mini-tank
- 1 x Halo G6 USB charger
- 1 x Halo G6 black aluminum drip tip
- 1 x Halo G6 carry case
- 1 x 3mL slip-tip syringe w/ 0.1mL graduations (for e-liquid mixing)
- 1 x white, slightly scruffy, re-tasked cardboard e-liquid container (formerly the property of the USPS)
- 4 x empty 7mL e-juice bottles
- 1 x empty 15mL e-juice bottle
- A few remaining Halo G6 blank cartomizers, which I keep as fourth-level contingency/emergency backups
(i.e., in case everything I own is destroyed except what's in my G6 carry case and - somehow - one bottle of e-juice)
- Several of those neat little clear, hinged plastic cases in which Halo packages their cartos and coils (re-tasked to consolidate various small, easy to lose vaping doo-dads and whatnot)
- Several carto condoms & coil "sleeves" (no, I'm not a hoarder, just a bit of a packrat - from a long, distinguished line of packrats, although I prefer the term "just-in-caser")
- A variety of tools I've adapted (i.e., craftily bent) to help with tank cleaning, wick alignments, air hole/passage clearing, etc. out of paper clips, safety pins and the like.

Software
- 47mL MBV Black Ice 50/50 18mg (my current ADV)
- 11mL MBV Menthol 50/50 18mg
- 17mL Halo Menthol ICE 18mg
- 2mL Halo Mystic 24mg
- 4mL Halo HX3 24mg
- 6mL Halo SubZero 18mg
- 4mL Halo Kringle's Curse 12mg ('cause sometimes I just gotta have me some peppermint)
- 7mL Halo Kringle's Curse 18mg (same as above)
- 1mL Halo Kringle's Curse 24mg (...)
- 12mL "Sacred Ground" 18mg
(my own mix of two MBV e-juice flavors, named only because I had to create a label to distinguish it from the other flavors)
- 6mL "Freezing Rain" 18mg
(my own mix of two Halo e-juice flavors, named only becau... yeah, same as above)
- 4 x mostly-full 15mL bottles of MBV e-juice I'm prepping to ship to Flavored to benefit the CASAA membership drive

My collection is young, but quickly building...

Clearomizers:
20 - CE5 clearo
10 - iClear 16 VW/VV clearo
4 - Aspire BDC clearo
4 - Kanger Mini Protank 3 with aerotank bases
4 - Kanger T3S clearo
2 - Aspire Nautilus clearo
10 - Kanger T3S clones (found them for $1 each)

8 - eGo-T 1100 mAh
6 - eGo-C Twists 1300 mAh
4 - Vision Spinners 1300 mAh
3 - eGo MEGA 2200 mAh
2 - Innokin iTaste MVP 2600 mAh

I plan on getting a few more batteries for the collection. All of them are cycled through for use. I don't leave the house without at least 3 batteries with 3 different clearos filled with 3 different flavors. I like being able to change flavors without having to change tanks.

As for flavors, we have about 30 different bottles of stuff we bought, but either grew weary of or decided that we no longer liked it. My flavor ordering is closely coming down to only our favorite and most used. Impulse purchases of juices need to be controlled here, that's for sure. Luckily, most of the flavors work well when mixed with that which we likethe most...so nothing seems to be going to waste.

I'd like to eventually gather enough supplies to build and maintain my own mechs, as well as those I plan to buy. The fear of government regulation is the drive. Who knows what they will add to the list...

I forgot to add...all of the above are items shared between my wife and I. My two daughters have their own small collection, mainly each have an eGo starter kit and a few CE5 clearos.

Between the girlfriend and I, we have 3 mods (though one of those has been long term loaned to her parents to entice them to quit smoking)(MVP energy edition, MVP shine, Vape-Pro), 11 clearos (1 KFL, 2 iClear30b, 2 iClear 16, 2 Smoke Aro Pyrex, 1 Smoke unknown model, and 1 unknown pyrex, 1 Kanger Protank2 fitted with air control, 1 Kanger Aerotank), 1 Roll of 30g Kanthal A1, 1 Roll of 32g Kanthal A1, 2 batteries and a charger for the Vape-Pro, and around 200mL of liquid.

As do I. I've recently begun carrying around with me, and currently have lying next to my keyboard right now, the following...

- Triton VV + clear tank filled with MBV Black Ice (my main rig)
- Triton 650 + clear tank filled with Freezing Rain
- G6 manual 280 + mini-tank filled with Halo Kringle's Curse
- G6 auto 280 + carto filled with Halo Mystic
...and just one disembodied Triton tank filled with Sacred Ground.

My collection, like many, is young but building....but I have to say, I *think* I'm pretty happy where I'm at hardware-wise, so it might just become maintenance purchases from here on out. I get the vapor production, flavor and throat hit I need from my current setups, and don't feel the need to branch into rebuilding, sub-ohm, dripping, or <insert cool vape-guy technique and/or buzzword here>.

Vamo V5 - this doesn't leave the house often, and NEVER when flying
Vision Spinner II (primary backup, becomes primary when leaving the house)
2 Ego clones made at my local B&M - no idea what model they're even supposed to resemble, I haven't found their exact doppelganger online anywhere. They work, though, and are more than adequate backups to the backup
2 Kanger Aerotanks - primary workhorses
3 Kanger Evod 2's - travel and backup
1 Elego Mega BCC, 1 Elego Mini BCC - going to keep these until the six coils I have set aside are all dead, then they're gone. They're not terrible, but I'm not going to pay any more to keep them; the performance is spotty, and I don't like the lack of threading to attach the coils - too much opportunity for leakage.
4 CE4 tanks - these are used for tasting when I get sample sizes. I try the flavors in these, then in the Aero after a steep, and compare. My thinking is that a juice that tastes just ok in the CE4 is likely to improve in a Kanger, and one that tastes good in a CE4 will be even better in the aero.

38 different juices, with many more to come. Still working my way through the Ahlusion and Vapor Chef lines, as I've liked almost everything of theirs I've tried. Need to give Lucky 7, Nicoticket, Halo and Highbrow Vapes a run as well based on the amount of good reviews I've read on here. I hope to eventually establish a solid 'rotation' of around ten juices with occasional forays into tasting new or new to me juices I read raves about.
