I don't get the grocery store thing. I don't know about you, but grocery shopping takes me 30 minutes tops. But even if it took an hour, i could easily wait until i left the store. I used to be able to shop anywhere without cigarettes, and its the same with vaping.

Are you some kind of nicotine junkie? Can you seriously not go a short time without it? It almost seems desperate. Just my 2 cents

aren't we all "nicotine junkies?" I vape openly in stores/public because it gets people to ask questions. I carry a bunch of cards from various b&m stores that I like and hand them out to anyone who approaches me and is interested in switching to vaping.

Geesh, just chill. No harm in a couple quick vapes if I feel like having one. I am casual about it and normally don't do it around other customers.

I stealth vape at work, I guess. "No tobacco" policy for the entire campus. No mention of e-cig use in the policy & procedure manual. I vape discreetly at my locker in the men's dressing room, which is conveniently hidden from the single entrance way. I know who I can trust to vape around. My co-workers actually like the smell of my flavors, and comment frequently that they like the flavor that I'm vaping and ask which one it is.

I stealth at the cinema, too. I usually go to a movie or at a time that won't be crowded, sit in the back row, and wait until the lights go out. I do the double inhale technique to lessen the vapor. No one sees me. No harm, no foul.

I think nearly every vaper eventually learns to stealth vape and finds situations in which they might want to.

As for me, I have stealth vaped pretty much everywhere but church...
--restaurants
--movie theaters
--plays and concerts
--airplanes
--baseball games
--football games
--hospitals

I have never once in four years been noticed doing so.

I would vape openly, but this is California.
Nearly every time I have asked I have been told no.
And nearly every time I have not asked, I have been asked to stop.

It's almost a game - how far can you take it?

Elevators, sneaking a toke while walking with the kids, at my desk at work, in meetings at work, bathrooms everywhere, most stores I visit.

Haven't worked up the chutzpah to try it in a restaurant or bar as SF nazis tend to swarm when you "threaten" their idea of health.

hehe.. I vaped in a restaurant today. Was talking with a friend and after a few hours I wanted to nic-up. I had a high PG fruit in the tank. The old ladies behind us never noticed.

If you want to stealth vape and escape all notice just find a shirt cig style battery with a mini tank. Cover or remove the LED and use a mild flavor 100% PG mix. You could easily cup it in your hand and a slow exhale would produce little to no vapor.

Ideal places (of course I do not condone such ideas) Funerals ( mainly Catholic that last forever and involve calisthenics... I was Catholic), any Bob Evanesque restaurant in a republican controlled state, elevators (taken from above), long court dates...be warned could get you another court date, any type of (insert name here)anonymous meeting, etc. I have to stop there as my ideas were REALLY starting to get bad.

I apologize to the large percentage of the population I may have just insulted in advance.

One place I vaped not even stealthy was when I had jury duty. Even when I had to go through the security desk. I took an inhale when I put my purse and keys in the basket. The guard didn't say a word. I didn't want to be there anyway and was hoping someone said something. When I was ready to walk through the metal detector, I asked the guard if I should put my ecig in the basket or just walk through with it. He said put it in the basket and I walked through, gathered my things and followed the crowd into the waiting area.

I continued to vape in the waiting area with no problems at all from anyone. Had to sit there all day and was not called for a case. Just read my kindle and vaped away.
