When standing/ walking fold arms across chest, one hand at mouth other supporting opposite elbow. Palm led. Take shorter draw than usual, exhale thru nose slowly. Coworker that is my work buddy and knew what I was doing noted that it only looked like I was holding a pen in my hand to my mouth, not obvious at all unless I acted obvious, i.e. looking around, being suspicious as if doing something wrong.

Indoors, keep clipboard or small fan at desk to wave the vapors away. I find purple led best for stealth, not as bright as other colors.
Best bet, single occupancy restrooms.

When in class, I have my little chuck in my sleeve (only works with long sleeves) and I bring both hands to my mouth so it doesn't look so obvious, I take a drag and blow it back into my sleeve. Sometimes I just hold it in though.

EDIT: some people say the sleeve thing doesn't work. Well, if you close the mouth of your sleeve after you exhale the vapor, no vapor will escape. Plus, vapor doesn't linger like smoke does. It disappears VERY quickly, specially in a small enclosed area such as a sleeve against skin. I believe the fabric and your skin absorbs it somehow.

I've placed a black pen cap over the LED, completely masking the light (and also camouflaging the PV as a pen to any casual viewer). I use the "hold the vape inside" technique, which works fine to kill the craving, though it isn't as relaxing as normal vaping.

I haven't started vaping yet (currently deployed, will be home in 2 days and my e-cig is already there waiting), but this idea sounds good to me. As an extention to it, what if you stuffed a small wad of cotton into the pen cap (one with the holes in the top) and then turned your pv around and blew the vapor into the pen cap. Would the cotton absorb all of the vapor?

Great tips, was wondering how people stealth vaped(just started vaping a few days ago). My work is dumb and banned e-cigs from inside the office. We have our own cubicles, but with 2 people on each side of me(work at a call center for HP). Sometimes if I get stuck on a long call I can't make it till my break, it was a lot easier smoking as it seemed like I didn't need a cig as often as the e-cig for some reason(I feel like I need to vape a few times a hour, opposed to once for 5 minutes every 2 hours with the regular cig).

I work in It I work second shift once day shift leaves I can vape at my desk because there is no one around to see me but I can go to the restroom at any time so If i need to vape while day shift is there I just sit in a stall in the restroom and no one is the wiser.

I keep my old npros to vape at work - and vape pg liquid instead of a pg/vg mix. The npros are so underpowered (I think around 200mah) that very little vaper is produced when vaping pg liquids, and so small as long as I tuck the ltd in my hand it just seems like a very short pen.

One tip someone posted that I am going to use next time I go to the movie - is that he sticks his pv in the hole of a drink cup - so it just looks like he is sucking on a short straw:rolleyes:

I'm having that same issue too, partly because I can now get my nicotine fix while inside places. I think it has to do with the fact that when you're smoking an analog, it's easy to see the amount you have smoked as the analog gets shorter, so when you're vaping it's harder to quantify the amount you have vaped in comparison to the amount it would have been as an analog, so we tend to under-compensate. Just a theory, but I've only been vaping for about 30 hours, so we'll see if those habits change, haha. So I just vape a couple drags every like 20 minutes while sitting around the house. Seems to work for me.

Just tried the drag > nose inhale > exhale trick. My god, works like an absolute charm. After a few drags I've got this to a tee. So easy and convenient. :)

Now if someone can recommend some non-smelling liquids I'll be the ultimate vaping ninja. Might just try some Ecopure, they're usually fairly mild.

Most juices don't have much odor. When in an open area I don't think you have to worry about a scent at all. But here's a thread that might provide some additional information on the subject http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/123315-lingering-room-scent.html.

Same here with the kind of not feeling satisfied and feeling like I need more. I think you are right that maybe I am under-compensating i am just afraid to vape to much and get sick from it. I didn't know alot about how to judge the nicotine and still don't so I got the 24mg in tobacco flavor. I used to smoke around 2 1/2 to 3 packs a day. I didn't smoke the reg. store bought ones though. It got to be so expensive that I went to RYO I used the premier 100mm tubes and switched to OHM natural pipe tobacco after the big price increase of cigarette tobacco. I have no idea how to even figure out what I am getting out of those :(.

My gf finds the smell of my LF Smooth Menthol and Original Red strong and "chemically", she can tell if I've had even a drag if she walks in the room, so they must be pretty potent (although the smell doesn't linger long). These are both very strongly flavoured liquids, so I'd like to get something milder so it doesn't bother her.
