Me and my boyfriend quit the same day. Its been a month now.
He convinced a buddy from work to try it out. He and his wife each got one. I know they have slipped up a few times but they have cut back almost 90%!
I always have my vape hanging on my lanyard and a guy asked me about it. We had a good 20 minute conversation about them. I let him try mine out and he was really shocked at the fulfillment he got. As was I the first time I tried it.
It feels awesome to help others quit and watch their progress

I purchased some egos and a couple iclear 16s for 3 of my smoker friends, let them fill them with their choice from my stash of liquids....to give them a go, vape when they can't smoke...whatever, no pressure.

A few days later I get a text....

Do I need to clean this before I refill it?

Yes, One down!!
I'm also hopeful some of the random strangers I have talked to about vaping have ended up picking one up. I only started b/c of a random stranger. No way he knows what an impact that 20min conversation had on my life.

Heh my friend complained today (first full day w no ciggs) about some WD symptoms. . I explained about wta's.. told her it was ok to smoke a cigg if she needed.. but she said no way will she do that.. im so proud!

None yet, but only been vaping for a few weeks. I did get one friend interested, though I suspect he'll use it more as a bridge for times he can't smoke at first. I have high hopes for him though! My dad is the next target.

The mom has been picking my brain on the subject but thinks start up cost may be an issue with all they have going on atm.
She doesn't know I'm working on getting basic gear together for them .

Since I've been working in a vape shop, i've lost count but i'm wishing and hoping it's working/worked out for those whom i've sold starter kits to. Quite a few loyal customers come back for juices and such too. Such a rewarding feeling to hear that they've kicked the analogs.

She's 60 & been smoking since she was 8.
She's currently got some V2 Coffee flavor that she likes, but is not vaping very often yet.
Hoping to learn more here about something that might get her more interested in getting off reg cigs.

roommate from a 2 pack a day smoker to only vaping for a month now.
my little sister who did hookah on occassion to being setup with a APV and uses that whenever she wants to hookah
my neighbor who also replaced hookah on occassion with an APV

people that have decreased their use of cigarettes with vaping
my roommate's gf who was smoking 2 packs a day, is down to under 1 pack a day
my friend's gf who was smoking 1.5 packs a day down to 5-10 cigarettes a day

My DH is my hero - he bought his eGo kit 8 weeks ago yesterday and hasn't had a cig since. (smoker for 45 years)
Took me longer, but today is day 5 cig free for me. (smoker for 40 years)

Talked with my oldest son today who is a smoker and he ordered juice and a starter kit while we were on the phone. He NEVER thought I could quit. Score 1!!

None. Most of my former smoking friends gave it up a long time ago and the few that are left are really dug in.

A few more in the works. I've got them to get starter kits but they r still smoking too. I figure they will fully convert at their own pace. I don't want to be pushy.

Also got one converted from expensive disposable "cig a likes" to an itaste vv but I dont think that counts haha
