Laughing at myself here. I got to thinking about the several posts today that I started in answer to some questions in other various posts, that I purposely did not post. Some of the answers I did not post were on new threads asking the same questions asked over and over again. I know today there were 5 that I started to reply on and just chucked them. Yesterday there were at least 6.

Why didn't I post the replies I had carefully thought out and wrote in order to post? Various reasons really. Some come down to that little thought in my head "I took the time to find that info on the forums.. why can't you?" One or two were because it seemed to me that I was being ignored anyway, so why waste their time with my superior knowledge (which I don't claim to have LOL). And I think one was about something that the OP just didn't include enough information to match the problem they stated.

I in no way claim to be an expert here.. I'm way too noobish still (and probably always will be). I do like to give my honest opinion on the things that have worked for me and my wife. It can't be all that bad, moved into DIY and rebuilds, stocked up with just about everything I could need for a Zombie (or FDA) Apocalypse and I even believe I could build my own mod if I wanted to, just from the information You folks (the ECF Community) have shared.

So, do you really feel those days, like I have been having, where you wonder why you even make the attempt to??

Thinking my rant is over..

In some other forums I visit, there are a few people who obviously bookmarked every question that's ever been asked twice. Every single time someone new asks a question, these people pop up a link to when it was first asked and answered.

I've thought about doing it, but it seems like so much work, and the people are rarely appreciative.

I post a lot less, since a few of my posts were removed without explanation by mods, and there are also a few thoroughly obnoxious folks on the forum who seem to have nothing better to do than put others down. I like the exchange of ideas between people of different ideologies, but don't necessarily feel I have to express my own. I do a lot of reading and learning, which is the major benefit of ECF anyway.

hehehe Glad I'm not the only one ;-)
Forums can be intimidating, especially when you're fairly new. I am normally a lurker on many forums, but this one is extremely active. Not going to lie...I amped up my postings so I could get the banner in my signature. But I do find myself starting many replies only to cancel them. Pressing reply now...
