I have re-charged my KR808D1 65mm shorties about 40 times in the month I have had them, and they are only vaping for like 15-20min now before needing another re-charge. I am chain-vaping them; constantly puffing or almost constantly, but 20min ?? (and the last 5-10min they aren't putting out enough to hit right)

I believe I read somewhere the manuf rates them as having a lifespan of 300 charges, which I figured you can cut in half to be more accurate, but 40 re-charges seems really short. Can anyone tell me what the lifespan of their 808 mini or even 100s batts turned out to be?

(Meanwhile yes, I am hunting for a chain-vape device and have fresh 808s on the way which I will save for public or portable use, once I get a new e-cig.) :D

Welcome , although I'm not all that familiar with the 808's . 40 times in a month seems like alot . And do you leave them on the charger ?? You can drastically shorten the battery life , by doing so . Sounds like you need to get some sort of big battery type PV , and several batteries , and charger for those . SOmething that uses the 18650 batteries , will usually last all day , or in your case , maybe only half a day . I sort of chain vape , and the batteries I have , that are supposed to last for a year , only last me , 5 to 6 months , at best . So buy more batteries , vape less . Your choice . You might also consider a straight passthrough device . You can plug that into your computer , and vape without using battery power . Good Luck .

40 times in a month is barely over once a day. And a full charge only = 1 hour vaping. IAC whether I charged them 100 times in a month, or 100 times over 6 months, as far as the battery is concerned it's still the same amount of re-charges. So if it's rated for 300 re-charges, why are they no good anymore after 40? That's my question and wondered if other 808 users have experienced such a short lifespan... and I refer to the number of recharges before the battery is useless, and not the time span the user takes to expire those re-charges, which is essentially irrelevant.

And no, I never leave them on the charger. I take them off the moment they've charged. Cleaning threads and around post as instructed as well. They don't get nuthin' but love. :) But they aren't loving me back if this is all they've got... a 40-recharge lifespan. It's also a massive difference from "300" recharges, even considering we already know manufacturers always exaggerate claims.

Btw that was good advice and I already planned to get a chain-vape device as stated, and hope I can get one with passthrough for this reason. But I don't want a manual batt, so looking more at Zeus (upcoming) and other large auto batts, but don't know if they have passthrough yet. Seems like a lot of good auto batts are up and coming.

And darn, I'm an idiot as I can get an 808 passthrough right now as I do virtually all my vaping at my computer! Can save those fresh 808 batts I have coming for portable vaping. So thanks, Renzuli for slapping me upside the head.

Meanwhile I am still interested in the life of an 808 but I discovered ECF has an 808-specific forum so I will go read that forum for info on that. Thanks again.
