I do have one vaping friend. I got him started a couple of weeks after I got going. I also helped my cousin quit smoking and start vaping, but he lives far away and we don't talk often.

So far, in my 6 or 7 months at this, I haven't run into a single other vaper out in the world. It really surprises me that it hasn't caught on more. I imagine that all of the crappy PVs in malls and gas stations have something to do with that.

Not as many as I'd like.

Smokers know smokers. I had big dreams that all the people I knew would see how well I'm doing and at least be interested. These are the same people that complained about how much they hated smoking and wanted to quit. I thought it'd be great to get everyone vaping. The more people vaping the better for all of us. I thought we could all order together, swap juice, etc.

So far it's just me, my mom and one sister. My other sister tried it and so did a nephew. My neighbors half vape and smoke.

...my wife, step-daughter and myself in the house...I got my best bud vaping about 50/50 vaping/smoking and gave a SmokeStik kit to his wife, who vapes at work, in the car and bedroom...I'm surprised I haven't run into any vapers in the wild since, disposable are sold in every gas/Cstore in the area...However, I have been hit up by lots of folks wanting info...most of them have had a negative experience with the disposables or web-rips so, I hand them an ECF card and send them here for more info...this has led to some humorous situations when they see my big ol' E-Power.............

I started with crappy also, but quite fast purchaced the upgraded crap and now I don't much care, how big the battery is and how "cigarette look like" the all thing is. I mostly DIY my flavors and experimenting with different carts, attys to find out what is best for me...LOL...the best for me is that I am analog free (previous 2,5 packs per day smoker) Actually your answers, guys are surprising, I thought that there are lots of vapers out there...

I have my mom and brother who i switched to vaping. I didn't think it would really happen, but a very good friend of mine actually picked up a e-cigg kit after seeing mine. I thought she was blowing hot air about it! Then I had to do the whole "Whhhhhhhhhhy didn't you call me first!?" after finding out she bought a ciggy look alike lol But as long as its helping her quit that's all that counts. Reminds me I should give her a call see how she's doing....

I only know one other vaper & he just quit vaping! Good news, though, he's not smoking either. He had health issues that caused him to start vaping & quit smoking. He worked his way down to 0 mg juice, he was hospitalized for several weeks & wasn't vaping, When he came out of the hospital, he just never started vaping again. He's doing well without analogs & not vaping.

So, now I know no other vapers. I try to get friends & coworkers to switch, but I've had no luck. I'm thankful for ECF to have someone (or many) to encourage me. I truly believe the people here are life-savers.
