Running a 3ohm Boge @ 5v right now & it's working great.

Rule of thumb is ohms + 2 = starting voltage

Adjust up or down from there according to preferences.

Yup, +1 for Thompson's response above. Adjust as required to achieve the best vape. If you go too high, you will know it because of the burnt taste.

Multiply the ohm rating times 2...but more importantly, start from the bottom and work your way up until you find what you like in terms of vapor production/flavor/heat

resistance plus 2. 3ohm carto plus 2 = 5 volts = good starting point at around 8.5 watts. i would say adjust to taste, start low and work your way up. try out different voltages, you may find you like one juice at a lower voltage than another. once i got into higher voltage i grabbed 3ohm attys and ran my lavatube all the way up to 6.0v with everything. it wasnt till i popped my last 3 ohm that i figured out one of my favorite juices blossoms at 8W. i think i was killing off one of the flavors at 11W

In a nutshell: you need to find your ideal wattage; for most people, it's somewhere between 4.5-8.5 Watts. Wattage is the heat (power) your PV generates.

Wattage = voltage (of your battery) squared divided by resistance (of your atomizer).

It all depends on your personal preference and ejuices that you use--tobaccos and coffees like it hotter, fruit and other delicate flavors don't tolerate too much heat.
