Thanks.. I am beginning to realize that :D... I edited the original in the hopes that people will read past the first post :D...

Thank you

I apologize for the confusion... some times I need a boost to get out what's in my head into typed words :p

Now we're cooking with gas! :D

I keep thinking it might be a good idea for the ECF to contact members who have not logged in for a long time to try to gather some statistics (i.e. if they are still vaping or have quit, or have gone back to smoking), and perhaps to send links to relevant petitions, etc. to try to encourage their continued support.

I agree !

We also need to make people aware of the tremendous defense that is needed. Let your immediate friends and family, relatives and neighbors, know what's going on, to start!

Sign the petitions here that the Vapors Coalition and CASAA encourage, but that is not enough. Obviously we will need everyone to stay tuned and stay informed up to date as well. The current petition in fact, calls for certain powerful actions from all of us if they do not cease and desease their anti-eceig efforts immediately, that is what we signed our names to pledge.

When you talk to people to share the info about anti-E-cig corruption, be sure to let them know we need help in spreading the word. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A VAPER to support a vaper. You can be a friend, pal, neighbor, sibling, relative, coworker, best friend, distant friend, customer, loved one, family member, vaper, smoker, or anyone who has a chance at helping vapers' defense! But a moment of their time every now and then would be so helpful, spread the word To spread the word, and stay connected!

Duck,

I think what has happened is you were not clear in your original post and people are still trying to wrap their mind around it.

What people got from your original post is: Would you stop vaping right now if it would help the cause of vaping. (NO!) But later in this thread (to me anyway) it seems more like what you are saying is:

If you for whatever reason stopped vaping, would you still support vaping?..(YES!).

It's not a matter of wrapping one's mind around it. The first statement is a completely different thing from the second statement. The first one sounds much more like a Ghandi-like protest thing, like going on a hunger strike for the cause or something like that. It asks one to quit, not what one would do if one had quit. It wasn't difficult for anybody to be confused.
