How much better is using an LR Atomizer with an ego?

I have tried LR 510 attys from PureSmoker, Eastmall, EliquidPlanet, NHaler, and MadVapes. Madvapes have the best I have used hands down. The only thing about them is you need to be careful while screwing in on to your device. If you do it too tightly, after about 2 weeks the center conductor will recess too far to make proper contact. Don't bother cleaning them, as that just adds to the number of times you have to re tighten them on to your device. I have gone couple of weeks without cleaning or dry burning the attys from MadVapes because it simply isn't necessary. They perform well, very well.

Been doing both for some time on my eGo 3.7v. I find that the 510lr's do produce more vapor, and seem to work from the get go. That being said, the trade off is a hotter burn, requiring more liquid, and over time, there is a taste degradation. With a regular 510 atty, it takes me close to a week to break it in, and afterwards, the vapor production is much better, and the taste is more flavourful. Just my opinion...I’m expecting my first 306LR's soon, I'm hearing good things on the vap and taste front.

I don't even vape regular attys anymore except on 5v. LRs may not last as long (although for me they lasted as long as any reg atty) but they are far more enjoyable for me. I would really recommend "Cisco" spec LR306s! They are the only LR atty that bring out the flavor of several brands of juices that seem dull on regular attys and even on some LRs. Don't bother using the carts it comes with, they are junk (very small reservoir and the plastic can even melt if you are a chain vapor like me, LR306s get very very hot). It's all about dripping with LR306s! BTW, the 306 dripper tips have thin walls and can crack if you try to push them on too far, so be gingerly with them. They are also too short, you mouth is too close to the coil, so be mindful of that. Hopefully the more robust and longer "cannon" 306 drip tips from cherry vape solves that problem.

I am in the LR conversion camp as well. I will cosign on the LR 510 & 306 attys.

However I am vaping some heavy flavor and/or high VG juices that work better with LR.
They are still good/great in a regular atty, but using them with a LR blows the mind on the difference. It is more productive in terms of vapor.

More often than not: IMO taste changes really depend on the juice.

They will fit 510 threading. However they are exposed so you will need a drip tip. Probably a cannon. I'm the type that will try it and attempt to work around a fitting issue, so that isn't a very big deal. I'll ZFM carts or makeshift drip tips when I lose mine, when I can find it I'll toy with the fitting again. I'll grumble about misplacing my LR atty later.

I tried the 306 on a mod with 510 threads, haven't tested it with the eGo yet.
LR 510s work with either and aren't exposed.
