Okay so the kit I'm getting comes with filled cartos and I plan on getting a five pack of blanks but I don't know how juice I should get to start off with as this will be my first PV and I'm getting the mega kr8 kit from MVS if that helps. I'm looking for some menthol, tobacco, and maybe some coffee flavors I found one sampler pack at vapor station for 10 5ml samples for $25 that looked good but just seems like a lot to start off with any suggestions?

50ml of a selection isnt too bad if you are unsure of the flavours you want to try.

Dont buy too many tobacco ones, and remember RY4 is the favourite tobacco out there, which is a kind of caramel based flavour , a menthol and a fruit and coffee, would be a good small selection to try out.

An interesting phenomenon is that most new vapers seem to think it is the tobacco flavors they will most enjoy. That seldom is the case once they are off analogs and into vaping. The advice given above to mix it up is good.

Also, it seems that many of us never buy enough juice in that first order, run out before the next shipment arrives and are back on analogs before we are stocked on juice again. The sample pack at vapor station is mixing it up and at a good price.

We have estimated in the past that the majority of us use about 3 ml a day on average. If you are typical, that order should last you for 16.7 days. You can use that math to determine amounts to order as a general rule of thumb.

Definitely start out with a broad selection of different flavors. Unlike some of my fellow veterans commenting here, I would not downplay the tobacco flavors ... and there are all kinds of variation on the tobacco theme (RY4 is only one of them). Many of us prefer one or more of those over the non-tobaccos. I think that some type of "Marlboro" (however it is misspelled) or "USA Mix" is a good base line. [If you have been a menthol smoker, of course include at least one of those.]

Certainly sample some of the fruits, candies, and beverages. [As a primarily tobacco man, I also enjoy a good strong coffee flavor ... and chocolate mint makes a great change of pace.] You'll find out quickly enough whether you are a tobacco man or a sweet-tooth man ... or a bit of both.

Small bottles are a cost-effective way to do such sampling. This article lists some of the juice sampler packs and small bottles available. For example: that Vapor Station package is an intriguing, cost-effective one ... NHaler has some great-tasting juices in 6-ml bottles ... Cignot is a great source for 5-ml bottles of China-made (Boge) e-liquid.

Bear in mind that China-made (e.g., DeKang or Boge) e-liquid is virtually the same from supplier to supplier, but USA (and UK) -made is unique to each supplier (in most cases). So if you don't like USA-made menthol from one supplier, you might love it from another.

Enjoy the adventure!
