Keep in mind also that EM is not really a sweetner. What it really does is round out some flavors. (knock the edge off). The problem is that it also can mute flavors. To much of any molecule will cancel itself out and a lot of flavorings already contain it. When you add it to a juice that already has EM it can just make that flavor totally mute. Strawberry ripe for instance. If you want a sweetner just order a sweetner.

Oh great knowledge, thanks.. So i could actually ruin the flavor by trying to get more flavor.. Got it.. But the only sweetener i can find is EM?

Sucralose is the most commonly found "pure" sweetener. Although I think you can get stevia as well, if you so desire. I use FA supersweet (I think it is) but most companies will make one. There are some newer sweeteners just being used in vaping lately. I like sucralose. Some flavoring companies will make a stronger or a weaker version of liquid sucralose. It doesn't need to steep, you can tell how sweet your mix will be (although the rest of your flavors may need to steep alongside it) but start low, you can always add more if needed, and shake it, and vape it, the sweetness part really stays fairly consistent over time.

I am a "reluctant" sweetener and do use some other "sweet" flavors to add depth at times, but if I am using sucralose, it's usually one drop per 30 mls, that kind of thing....

Good luck,

Anna

I find that Em works great with tobacco flavors. Used cautiously because as been stated too much will ruin a juice. Also some flavors already have Em in them so you have to watch that. If you are looking to sweeten I’d look elsewhere but if a juice needs help softening a strong overpowering flavor or to help meld the flavors together Em can really help. If you just want a juice sweeter try sucralose

So (I know this is probably hard to answer) I use the Hangsen USA mix aroma, and it has a slight sweetness that I want to get more of. And if I understand all this great information correctly, if I use too much EM I can ruin the taste (specifically if Hangsen use EM in the aroma)? So EM for more flavor and sucralose for more sweetness?

Sucralose for sweetness is correct Em is more complicated. I wouldn’t say Em for more flavor, Em is a flavor enhancer that when used in excess will mute flavors. It can help remove any strong perfumy tastes and helps to meld multiple flavors. I use it in my tobaccos and as many have said it is helpful for them. I can’t speak to it’s use in other types of flavors because I only vape tobaccos. I hope this helps and doesn’t confuse, like I said it’s complicated.
