Hi guys.

I've been browsing some recipe-sites lately, and I've noticed that in allot of recipes there is being used allot of flavouring. 20% and more.
I have never used more than 10%, so I was wondering what the limit is, for how much flavouring you can use.

Hi Jonas!

I personally use between 20-30% in my juices. You can overload - blogs by Hoosier talk about the "phases" of flavoring, from too little to too much. I follow the TFA thread, and based on a lot of suggestions there, I can get great mixes (still for much cheaper than purchased juices) that I don't have to steep for any significant amount of time.

Other flavor bases may not need the same levels of flavoring, such as LorAnn, FlavourArt, or Capella (or they might need more) compared to the TFA bases. I can get a 4 oz. (120 mL) bottle of flavoring (TFA) for about the same price I pay for a 10mL bottle of juice from my local B&M. Even at 20% flavoring, I'm still way ahead of store-bought.

That you enjoy the juices you make is all that matters. :vapor:

I run the whole spectrum from 3% to 30% depending on the nature of the flavoring and the manufacturer. I try to avoid Alcohol based flavors that require more than 5%, but that's my personal opinion, and is subject to change as I gain experience.
I guess as long as my nicotine stays the same and my VG stays at around 50%(my personal preference) then I should be alright.
