I've been filling my ego c tank almost to the top, leaving a little vapor space as the instructions recommended. Still, I think I'm getting some leakage. I will try going 3/4 to see if it helps.

Mine is this way also but in my case I think its condensation not leakage. Love the tank system so much more than the cartos.

What I've noticed is that after a short while on a new tank the liquid level has dropped quite a bit, more so that what I figure I have vaped. I pulled the tank out and ran a Kleenex around the inside of the cone; definitely picked up some liquid. Not a lot, but then 1/4-1/2 ml is not a lot, although it's a large percentage of a tankful. Not surprising to me-- can't see how that hard plastic of the tank can provide a decent seal.

I like my ego C but afraid that it's terribly inefficient. Anybody got any solutions for this? Heard that you can get tanks with soft caps. These might work much better.

Silicone soft caps for eGo type A tanks - $1.50 for 5 at Cignot which is about the best price I've seen anywhere. Cignot has really fast shipping (I typically get the shipping notice email within 30 minutes if I order during their working hours) and they are really friendly and helpful folks.

The main thing I've learned about the eGo-C tank system in terms of leaking is that they need a soft inhale. Hard pulls will suck too much juice through and lead to leaking.

I like the soft caps too, after the plastic holes gets too large to make a good seal.

Hows are the soft caps? Do they leak at all, i feel like if they werent a tight enough fit they would, the plastic ones click into place beautifully and i havent had problems yet but we will see. I definitely agree with the soft inhale, when i first started vaping i was told to inhale soft on egos and although my inhale was softer than a cigarette, it wasnt soft enough and was leaking like crazy. Now i inhale super super light, just enough, it works perfectly and does not leak at all. Also if you inhale light you often get much more vapor! BTW for anyone, theres a perfect balance, if you inhale way to light then it will bubble and ur wick will burn and it will flood!
