Are you saying that it doesn't screw on properly, or it just doesn't look perfect? An MT3 should screw right onto an eGo battery, but it may be a little wider in outside diameter. You don't need a cone with it.
E-vod's are ego/306 threaded, correct? I guess it is possible to put a skirt on it with adapters, but seems kinda pointless. 510 threaded tanks and cartridges on devices that have both ego and 510 threads will need a skirt to look better. It also helps you out in the beginning using cartomizers. I'm glad I used an ego and ego threaded mod at first before getting use to priming cartomizers. It's really easy to pressurize the air holes to pull some juice in a half-assed primed cartomizer.
I'm not sure if they're the same size as the evods but if you get an evod clearomizer & an evod battery they match perfectly. Very sleek looking
The MT3 is wider than the battery. There is nothing you can do to change that. The cone you are thinking of is for a support on a protank.

That is the piece I'm talking about. All it is, is a support for a protank so you don't snap off the base. The issue he has is that the MT3 outside diameter is bigger than the Ego-C battery diameter.
It's because of the knurling on the MT3/S base and the extra diameter on the tank to make the tank match the base. There's no need for an adapter. It works fine as is, even if it's a little odd looking.
Maybe someone here can help me. I recently purchased the Vamo 2 and I am having trouble with the MT3 clearomizer making contact with my 510 to ego adapter. MT3's are from Smokeless Image they screw on but will not fire with adapter on..My question is do these 510 to ego adapters vary from different venders? Also could it be that this make of MT3 is slightly different and won't work even with an adapter? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks so much.
The T3's that smokeless image are not the same as an 510/ego threaded t3. They are vgo 808/egothreaded, the center post on them is located higher inside the head because of this. My t3's came from SI and they are easy enough to convert to ego threading with a couple of parts.
