How much pg in ejuice?

First off, is this calculation correct?

If I want 10ml juice at 50/50 pg/vg with 6mg/ml nic starting from 12mg/ml nic base (100% vg carrier) and I want 10% flavoring the recipe would be:
4.5ml nic base (vg base)
4.5ml pg
1ml flavor

OK assuming that's correct..... My question is: does the fact that there is pg in the flavor throw off the pg/vg ratio? OR, is the amount of pg present in the flavor too small to have any real effect on our recipe?

Thanks! I have checked it out and have been running numbers through it.
The problem is I don't know how much pg is in a flavor that says it contains pg. 99.9%? 0.0001%?

Maybe my assumption was wrong, and the flavor is essentially 100% pg, then the recipe would be:
5ml nic
4ml pg
1ml flavor.

This makes more sense. But I'm not confident, since there are plenty of flavors with no pg.

If you don't know the factual PG dilution ratio of your flavoring then leave it at zero.

You shoul check the vendor to see what the base is for that flavor. but honestly its not really going to make a difference. 1mm difference in your vg/pg ratio wont mess up your mix. You got the nic right thats the important one. If it were off it would be off by 5%

Ok I guess I kind of answered my own question.. The concentrate is mostly base, which I can assume is pg. So the second recipe would be correct. Thanks folks

I have had a good experience with the strawberry kiwi in 80pg/20vg with 12mg nic.

Great throat hit good flavor I am always pleased with vapor production from my MPT3

I also just picked up the same mixed ratio of berry creamy. Also a great flavor and vapor production.

My 2 ¢:

I treat pg based flavorings as 100% pg.

Example: If I use 1.5 mLs of "grape bubble gum" flavoring in a mix, and it is a pg based flavoring, I count this as 1.5 mLs of pg 0 nic.

Just as the nic is a very small % in it's carrier (PG or VG) the flavoring is also a very small % in it's carrier (PG, VG or PGA). Although most flavorings are in PG it is still best to ask if not labeled.
