How often do i change my coils on my Kanger Protank 3

I have a Protank 3 with a adjustable air valve as a base. Along with a 1000maH Variable Voltage battery set at 4.6V. I have had it for about 3 weeks now. I intially used a strawberry flavored e juice 60/40 pg/vg mix. I ran out of that (ther wasnt much left in the bottle anyways) and just added a raspberry flavor ( 75/25 pg/vg mix). I had no problems with it tasting bad or giving out good vapor. I lost my bottle of raspberry and ran of e liquid in my e cigarette. I had a bottle of lemon lime flavor from the same company that made the raspberry flavor. I put it in the Protank and started to use it . It tasted fine for the first day. The next day i used it and it had a bad after taste to it. That day my new bottle of strawberry flavor came. I emptied out the tank and cleaned it pretty good. I put the strawberry flavor in and it still has that bad after taste.

Is it my coil? (actually a dual coil)
How often should i change my coils?

Change you coils when:
1. they break
2. when the juice tastes funky or burnt
3. if the flavor becomes muted

It's not about how often, but when. Some coils I have built lasted 10 or more tanks while some were ruined after only one tank.

I change mine every 3-4 weeks but definitely clean it every time I change juices.

depends how much you vape a good sign is always tatse but the manufacturer recommends every 5-10 days i get about 2-3 weeks on a good coil from kanger on my mini pro 3

How often should i change my coils?

3 weeks sounds like a long time to run one coil head.

I'd change mine every 3 to 5 days; I'd put in a freshly rewicked coil;
meanwhile I got about 10 dead coils over the last 6 months I'd have to recoil soon

3 weeks is a long time for me. I usually change every two weeks, but it tastes like crap at the end of those two weeks

changing coils on a tank is like changing oil in a car... they say to change it every 3000 miles... if you drive the car 10 miles a week you will change the oil in 30 weeks ( 10 months)... but if you drive your car 300 miles a day you will be changing the oil every 10 days

it all depends on how much you vape and what kind of juice you use...

I bought kanthal for my miniprotank3 and now I rebuild the coil every 2-3 tanks or so.
