how often do i need to clean my tanks?

I'm all for not cleaning clearos until they start to taste funny, but sometimes that just means getting a new one/new head depending on what type of tank it is.
If your juices don't get dark and you're not changing flavors, I wouldn't worry about it. Give it three to six months and clean and rinse with alcohol when you change heads.
P.S. If you juices darken over time, it's best to rinse more often to keep from going thru heads too quickly.

Yeah I would like to know about protanks? Are they the best glass? Sorry new to vaping
You should really start a new thread, rather than hijack this one. Protanks work really well for me, I love them. Other's do not like them for the airy draw, but it seems like the airy draw is part of what makes them work so well, to me. The Protank 2 has been out for a while now, all parts replaceable including the drip tip and the top cap.
Protanks in my experience need a wash every tank not because of bad liquid or flavour but I've found the protanks store the runny condensation of vapour really well which has given me nightmares with gargling flooding my connection and generally giving me a crap Vape found giving them a good wash and fill up every tank keeps this problem to a minimum
I don't know if they're the "best" but they're probably as good anybody else's. I have 10 or 15 of them with no problems.
