I've started to build every morning, one coil will last me about a day (of the gunkiest N.E.T's) until it started getting a little bit ...., nothing beats a fresh coil, i may re wick through the day but dry burning coils just doesn't taste right afterwards, maybe I'm doing it wrong but this is what I've been doing for the past few days...

Like Bunnykiller replied, it all depends on the NET.

I have some that require changing my wicks in less than 2 mls, so that means twice a day. I have others that allow up to 3mls so once a day is needed. I have some that are cleaner and I can do up to 5ml so that means every other day.

I have different atomizers for different NET use. I have a couple RDAs for the real disgustingly dirty but most tasty ones. I have some RDTAs for the less gross and a couple RTAs for the cleaner ones. That keeps me busy in the upkeep and I have to daily dry burn at least 2 RDAs and up to 4 tanks. Its the price I pay for my love of NET.

For my light fruity liquids I can go through 20mls with the same wick. Im a heavy vaper and go through 20 to 30 mls daily. My NET use is not all day but still costly so I ventured into DIY NET. I still buy a few from Naturally Extracted Tobaccos , so good and gross and costly with my heavy use.

I vape NETs exclusively. A flavor chaser, I'm extremely picky when it comes to flavor and re-wick more often than most. Inhaling direct to lung at 0.4 ohms and 45 watts, I consume around 8ml of NET each and every day.
  • When vaping NETs extracted using PG and or VG as the extraction solvent (most retail and homemade NETs are extracted in this manner) I re-wick/dry-burn every 3 to 4 ml. At that point the wick is fouled and there is a thick, crusty buildup on the coils.
  • When vaping NETs extracted using PGA (ethanol) as the extraction solvent and purified by "freeze filtering" I can go through 10 - 12ml before sensing an undesirable flavor change. At that point the wick is fouled but the coils have very little buildup.
  • NETs made by supercritical CO2 extraction are by far the least gunky I've tried (>20ml before re-wicking) but HHV is the -only- manufacturer I know that makes NET using that process. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of supercritical CO2 extraction because the flavor it produces (although strong and tobacco-ish) is just too generic tasting and non descript for me, much like juice made using Tobacco absolute.
