How often do you re-coil, or re-wick your kayfun? I have a kayfun lite plus that I only use when I am at home in the evening. It has Twisted 32g kanthal coil @ 1.1 ohms and a organic cotton wick. I have had this build running for a little over a week. What should I look for? I am not really sure when I should know to change and re-build. Thanks! Everything I know I learned from this forum!

coils can last weeks, months. Wick is your call. When it tastes burnt or less flavorful... dry burn and inspect the coil - if it looks good, rewick it and you're back in business. ;-)
Mine lasts from 3 weeks to 4 weeks. I notice my juice starts tasting really weird when my coil has reach its end. You'll know because the taste of your juice will change. Of course there are juices that will shorten your coil's life too. Just always burn off your coil before putting fresh cotton or wick back in. This cleans off the gunk from the coil.

I love the tinkering part of vaping, so i have been doing a new coil and wick every few days just for the hell of it, that and i bought a few hundred feet of different gauge wire so i try different thickness and number if wraps and tell myself im testing

I'm running Boba's Bounty in my Russian. It's a definite coil-gunker, so I pretty much dry burn and re-wick every tankful. If I push it and refill without cleaning, I pretty much regret it before the refill is gone.
I have the HCigar 3.1 and recoil it about once every 2-3 weeks but change the cotton about every 4th day ( or every 3-4 tank fulls)
It does depend what I'm vaping, but in general, every 3-4 days for wicking, and 3-4 weeks for the coil.
