I've become addicted to bobas and Havana gold from ave juice. I got in on the new years sale of 15% off (or whatever it was) but at the rate I'm going thru the stuff my supply isn't going to last long. ;)

How often do they run sales? And how and where can I find out about them?

Contact them and ask if they'll do a volume discount - they're small enough that they might consider it, it's not like you're dealing with Walmart or anything.

I belong to a Reefers forum not the slang word but the Real Reef with corals and such..anyway we have Group buys where we talk to a vendor and they give us a discount on equipment or food for the fish and corals as long as 10 people go in on the deal ..Wonder if we could get a group of 10 or more to do a bulk or group deal for a modest discount?

I'd be in on that. I'd like a 100 ml bottle of Havana gold and bobas bounty ;)

Havana gold taste like a sweet cigar honestly. It has fairly strong tobacco flavor that gets more dominant with steeping, while having a sweetness on the palate.

I think it's better than bobas. Mainly because it's less sweet compared to bobas. And it has a stronger tobacco taste and aroma.

If you like cigars, or strong tobacco flavor, try a sample of Havana gold from AVE. I love it and vape it more than any other juice in my rotation right now.

My son can taste honey, I can't identify the source of the sweetness in the same way he does. I know it's sweet tobacco but not sure where the sweetness comes from.

I mostly DIY, including with tobacco absolute, but have a nice collection of a dozen or so of the most well-reputed naturally-extracted-tobaccos (NETs). Just to see what the hype was about, I had to buy a few well-known juices such as GVC, Pluid, and, of course, Bobas Bounty. When I ordered the BB, I also got Havana Gold, since it's Rob of REO's favorite. Although I use RBAs on mechs now almost exclusively, I've used these latter two in cartomizers, and I now keep them in their own 2.5Ω ProTanks for use on an eVic at 7.5-8.0W. I don't grab it very often, but did so while writing this.

Boba's Bounty and Havana Gold aren't my cup of tea. IMO, they don't taste like tobacco, nor do any of the lab-tobacco/"arti-bacco" flavorings I've tried. That may be a good thing for some vapers. Perhaps a drop or two of TA would help them. I haven't tried that. I agree with those who find Honey Graham Crackers in Boba's Bounty--very sweet. Perhaps there are flavored cigars that taste like Havana Gold. None of the thousands of dollars worth of cigars I've smoked and still hoard were flavored. To me, Havana Gold tastes like a slightly less sweet Boba's Bounty with some "smoke" flavoring like you'd add to BBQ sauce, instead of the honey grahams--still sweet. Of the two, I prefer the Havana Gold.

I'm not here to bash the OP's choice of juices--just to give my different perspective on them. As always, this is IMO and YMMV, especially with taste.

I got in on the Thanksgiving sale and bought some HG along with Boba, Gamel, Blend 4, C&D, because I was curious myself. I've never smoked cigars or pipes, but have found recently, that I like the tobacco flavors from naturally extracted tobaccos etc. At first the smell of Havana was offputting, but now that it's been setting around almost 2 months, seeing your post actually, I revisited it.
Not bad. Not bad at all :)
What does Havana Gold taste like? Alien Visions E-Juice
After 2 months, it's not harsh smelling like it was at first (kind of like when I hate when people are actually smoking a cigar, stinky lol) ...but now it's a nice vape, it's stronger than Bobas just not as sweet. I like a variety of flavors in my daily rotation, so it's in there :)
I just saw they are starting a loyalty program where you get points for each purchase and credit towards juice.
It's on their Facebook page
I saw it to on their forum here, but since I don't do facebook yet, I'm sure I lose out on lots of promos :(
I just saw they are starting a flavor of the month too! 10% off...c'mon Havana gold!

I'll have to just keep hitting up their website every now and then since they don't do newsletters by email :( Meanwhile, I DIY my own e-liquids and have plenty for a year or so, possibly I'll get in on their next BIG promo like over Black Friday :)

I just read back and see where you said "smoke" like BBQ sauce and YES, I get that too! It's unique, and just made me realize I'll dilute it down and doctor it up if I want to vape it more often lol.
