I'm no scientist but I only use Kanthal (just started using Stainless Steel recently) but when my vape starts tasting bad, I clean or rebuild my
coils. When I pull my
tank or RDA apart the coils are covered in black gunk, caramelized old
juice. I think that stuff is going to trap any metal particles (if that can even happen). What's worse is that gunk is actually burning and joining the vapor.
