How often to clean or replace tanks?

I've noticed that after use, two things happen to my tanks.

The mouth side get covered in condensation.

The atty side seems to get sticky, the juice sticks to the side or in a meniscus at the top and cap be reluctant to go down to the atty.

The mouth side is easy to clean, prise the cap off with my thumbnail, and suck the baffle, then rinse and leave open somewhere warm to dry.

The atty side is easy to get into and clean, again pop off the cap and rinse, but there is a little o-ring around the end cap that seams to go skew when you replace the cap and then the tanks leek a little bit.

I tend to carry 6 tanks (2 in cigs) to get me through a day

Caps in the UK are only 20p each so I guess I could wash all my tanks once a week and the cost would be reasonable.

I guess I'd have to replace the tanks when the teeth marks get a bit much.

Attys seem to be fine, its been 2 weeks so far.

Lately I've been using one cartridge at a time. I use this until the condensation inside has built up pretty badly (almost a full day of use for me), then I throw it in a bowl to be cleaned later.

Once I'm down to my last couple of cartridges (I have 17) I completely disassemble and clean all of them in hot water.

As for attys, how often I clean depends on which juice I'm using. With one flavor, one atty lasts two days before it gets gunked up. With some juices, I can go a week or so before cleaning the atty.

I keep a few attys on rotation as well. When three or four are dirty, I clean them all at one time.

Oh, and to remove the pieces (edit: pieces of the cartridge... the two discs) more easily and with less damage, try a straight pin through the side vent.

As for the rubber band, I know what you mean. I had this problem at first, but I've figured out the trick to it. Have the rubber band on the lower groove (there are two) and I slide this part of the top onto the tank sideways. Come from the side and slip the rubber banded part under the little nubs that the tabs fit over. Once this part is in evenly, push the top down onto the tank until it locks on. IF the rubber band starts bunching up and doesn't look like it will stay on right, spin the top around and try to start with the other side.

I do have two carts with rubber bands that are way too loose to fit on nicely, and those do bunch up, but I still haven't had leaking issues with those carts.

Have had my eRoll for about 2 months. Still have the same 5 carts on daily rotation and haven't had to replace them yet. I rinse them off once in while, but not with any regularity.

I haven't had to disassemble a cartridge yet. I clean them by dripping warm water into the fill hole and then shaking it out until it whistles. Repeat until it's clean. This also shakes out the condensation. I've had 8 cartridges in use for 8 weeks and haven't had a leak or issue in any of them, probably from not disassembling them.

Soak attys in vodka for a day. I use a baby food jar with about a finger width of vodka in it. Let them dry for a few hours. Just like new!
