Hi, I have recently been introduced to vaping and have gotten myself a eco c twister with a vivi nova.

Been reading on the forum and on the net that it is recommended to clean the tank with hot water every two to three refills.

I'm on my sixth refill now and there is no changes to the taste and level of smoke. Is it really necessary for any cleaning work?

What are the other maintenance I need to be aware of?

How dirty it gets depends alot on what liquids are being used. Some gunk up the coils a lot quicker than others, generally liquids with sweeteners or dark liquids with more suspended solids will dirty up coil pretty quick. You can just wait till you notice a drop in performance to clean the coil, but I will say it's best to clean them before they get to dirty. You'll better understand when that is as you gain more experience. Go to youtube and look up how to clean and dry burn a Vivi Nova for some visuals.

Cleaning the tank is no problem, just rinse with hot water.

If you want to clean the atomizer head, blot the wicks as dry as possible, then soak the head in a shot of vodka overnight and burn dry. Add a drop or two of e juice to keep the coil linside from decay.

Dry burning consists of firing the unit, with just the base of the Vivi and the atomizer head, for 3 seconds on and 3 seconds off until you see the coils inside glow red.

    Refill the tank and enjoy.
