just curious, how often to most people re-wick? I like custards.. I go through about 15ml on a heavy use day. I seem to like to re-wick every other day, but have no idea if that's normal or what most other people are doing.

It depends mostly on the juice. Dark, sweet and nets will gunk up faster. I've got some clear non sweet liquids I can go weeks without re-wicking. On the other side I've got a coffee and a diy net that I have to re-wick after just a few ml.
Once a month, mostly because I'm bored and want to try something else not because I need to. I also use RxW like Muzichead.
What is RxW? Sounds like I need this lol I rewick every couple days with regular organic cotton, can go forever without rewicking but after a couple days it seems to become less absorbent and you get a lot of spit back if you just try to dump a dripper worth in there, so I end up rewicking.
I usually re-wick once a week because I am always dripping new flavors all the time.
I normally change out the wicking every 2nd or 3rd day at most, depending on the e-liquid or if I'm changing flavours
I rewick whenever i decide to use an rda thats been sitting for a few days. And sometimes if i notice a decrease in flavor or vapor even with a new battery. It depends on the juices used and the rda build as to how often, but i have so many rdas that i am usually rewicking something every day. Its so easy to do and the organic cotton squares i use are so cheap that i actually enjoy doing it.
It depends on the build I'm using, some as often as every 3-4 days. The fact is that like many things vape related, there is no hard and fast rule. If you feel it's time to rewick, then it's time.
Thanks man, this stuff seems awesome, think i'm going to order some, how flexible/compressible is it? i.e. should I order 3mm for 2.5mm coils? Is the wicking as good as cotton or is it more of a paint the coils type of wick?
I rewick my drippers every 1-4 days, depending on the dry hits the dripper took
My Subtank mini wicks tends to get totally caked up after a few days of constant use (and I'm a chain vaper). My RDA do not get caked like that. Never understood exactly why the difference, but it is what it is.
Always use organic cotton, currently KGD. And high flavor mixes with juices, creams and sweeteners. I rewick when the taste degrades (or gets totally "burnt" after a bad dry hit). My juice always tastes better on a fresh wick, I should rewick every day, just becuz...

I use 3mm and MMagic wire... after 6 month I re-wick (only because I have to refresh or I will forget how to do it)
I use Muji Cotton for Wick Material for my RTA's/RBA's.
And I used to Vape Pretty Sweet, Flavored DIY Mixes that were about 20%PG:80VG. A wick on average would last about 5 Days @ 4ml/per. Or about 20ml worth of e-Liquids.
