mine varies wildly, usually a few days to a week, but i get on a tear now and then where i will be changing coils daily and that involves fresh wicking. but i would have to posit that when i go close to a week (with moderate use) the wicks are almost always lousy with deposits inside the coil interface area.

When there is a sorta cruddy, stale note added to the flavor of what I'm vaping even after I have just redripped.

i generally rewick every 2-3 day to maybe a week. Maybe more often if i run it dry and burn the cotton. that def always sucks!
But can wicks be flipped inside out to get another day out of them?
Tried that last night......and no they taste even worse when you flip them inside out, also it's a lot of work lol
