I can remember when gas was 69 cents a gallon. Look at what it is today. I could fill my Chevette up for less than $8 and drive around for 2 weeks. I hated that car then but wish I had it now...LOL.

T...you need to put that cow in a Chevette. Pop the hatchback and lay the seats down. She'll fit, I promise.

It made me chuckle....nice new avatar TT :)

5cardstud posted this one of me and my cow-asaki (and I stole the pic). Since I don't have a Chevette either, how will this one do?

(yes I should be sleeping....but I'm not...stupid ITunes party shuffle...of course I love it all....)

I remember when gas was 25 cents a gallon. And near where I lived was having a gas price war and you could get it for 18 cents with just a short drive. Damn I feel old!

You ARE old mark. I mean, WE'RE old mark. I can remember the 18 cents a gallon too. And a young man would fill the tank, check the oil and clean the windshield!

 Sorry, I passed through a time warp there and had to sing.

When I was a kid, my father owned a chain of gas stations. There was this one guy who worked for him that was a marvel to watch. He would have six cars at the pumps that he would gas up, clean their windshields and check their oil, all at the same time. Little did I know at the time, he did this all for minimum wage!
