Well its been a very long time since Ive mixed my batteries with a liquid.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

On a serious note though. There are many devices out there, they all require batteries of some sort and its true that there is liquid being used in close proximity to the batteries on all these devices. Safety is in the hands of the person using the device. A vaper should be very informed on their personal device and should know its limitations and capabilities. There are some devices that are more safe than others, but none are absolutely safe. If the device is well cared for and treated with the respect it deserves then just about any device can be used safely. I always recommend that beginners do some research on the device they intend to use, be informed on its issues and EVERYONE should understand battery safety when dealing with vape gear.

That having been said, I still believe that vaping is much safer than smoking. I have been vaping for over a year now and Ive yet to have an accident of any kind with a battery, nor have I heard about any accidents that werent caused by some sort of misuse of the device.

I wanna say the Smok M80....I cant say for sure, but I remember seeing some sort of issue with that one and I am reasonably certain that the issue with the iStick 50W was related to the internal circuitry and/or battery chemistry. Dont quote me on that, Im not a fan of either of those 2 mods(asthetics and heard about too many issues to keep them straight) so I havent really researched them much.

I can't say anything in regards to the smok m80, since I have never dealt with one. I have the 50w istick though. Mine has been flawless, but there have been a number of issues with them. It is always in the back of my mind every time I take it fishing. As far as I know, it was an internal issue, but I don't think anyone has a definitive answer on it.
