Does anyone know where I can find cut-away or expanded drawings of how attys and batteries are put together? I have some ideas for mods and kind of understand how they are made, but would like a picture or something. I will be taking some apart when they go bad, but till then I would like some drawings or pictures.

Buy/find/trade for some dead attys. I have 3 dead 901s myself I'm going to pull apart and document for rebuilding needs or to subvert a supply cutoff/ban.

I did have an atty go bad this weekend and also a bad bat. I tried getting the atty apart with no luck. Then I decided that I should clean it first so I could see what there was better if I did get it apart. I put it in some boiling water for 10 min. then hooked it to the bad bat. for levrerage. It came right apart. It seems there is also glue that holds it together besides the knarled edge. The hot water softened the glue and helped it come apart. I learned a lot about how they are put together and also got the bat. apart and saw how it was made.
