how to add a signature?

ive looked and looked and i cant find any place where it will let me add a signature to my post.

can anyone help me out?

Nah, just kidding! you do it in Settings > Edit My Signature on the Left side of the screen.

To edit your signature, go to your settings (Top of the page on the bar), then scroll down a bit, and on your left hand side, under "My Settings" you'll find a link that says "Edit Signature".

there is not an edit signature option in my settings

It should be on the left hand side (you quoted my posted before I realized my error and edited it)

it says im not permitted to have one. particular reason for that?

How long ago did you join? You need a minimum of 15 posts to be able to have a signature. I see that you have 22, but it can also typically take up to an hour for the forum software to update your level and unlock your "achievements". So if you've been posting like a fiend and went from 14 to 22 in the last 10-15 minutes, you might need to wait a while before the signature "unlocks" for you.

i joined a few days ago or so. ive just been posting here and there and replying. but it says im a full member so i dont see why it shouldnt let me
