So here i am standing in line at the grocery store and i keep looking at those nice altoids boxes. Always wanted to do a mod on a box but using a 18650 battery, the biggest of all for us vapers.
The big altoids box is not a good fit for the hand, so i keep looking.

This is the result...
The bubblegum box mod:

I am a heavy vaper (6 to 8 ml a day), so i don't use 14500 (AA) batteries, that is why i keep looking for options to fit a 18650.
So big switch, big battery, and RCA connector system to swap atomizers in a blink. 801, 901, and 401.
Yes, the first 3 pics are not the same... ;)
Some might think the color is not what they would prefer. I love lime green, so there you have!
Hope you all like it.

Nice, I'm not sure about the colour :D but if it works and you're happy more (battery) power to you!

Dude, did you get those switches off of ebay? I saw some that looked just like that one last week, or maybe earlier. How are they? how much push required, do they fire every time?

Yes, got them from e-bay and so far so good, they fire every time and they are on the soft side, so i really like them.
They are posted as brass?? pretty sure it is nothing close to brass lol.

Would you mind doing a parts list and perhaps some instructions?
I think I can figure it out mostly but few pieces I'm not sure about.
This looks like a good simple beginner mod project.
I'm as newbie as it gets and this doesn't look too intimidating to try.
Feel like a detailed instruction to help a gal out?

It is simple to build, except for 2 small issues.
1-There are no battery clips on a bubblegum box , hehehe, so, you have to make your own out of metal (not the easiest thing to do).
2-You also have to build RCA adapters that would be a little more advanced work.
Your best bet is to build the well known nicostick, it is very cheap and easy to get the parts and the battery you will need. It is based on a battery box that already comes with the clips to hold the batts.

Here is the link for the step by step:

If you still want to build the "bubblegum box" feel free to PM me and i will be glad to help you out as much as i can.

Yep, the clip to hold the batts and and the RCA adapter was what I was figuring out.
Got parts coming in for a nicostick to make : D
I'll take you up on that offer once I get it done if I don't blow up the garage in the process and hubby takes the tools away haha
