How to block pictures

Is there a way to block pictures on this site so I won't have to look at so many weird avatars. Some of them are purely disgusting while others are just in poor taste - like a picture of someone's feet, toes etc. etc.

You think the ones here? are bad? you should see some of the really bad ones on some other vaping forums. Feet are not my favorite thing to look at, but compared to the other sites allowing extremely adult animated gif avatars, with of far worse body parts. The very bad words and foul language on those other forums. This place is the "kindergarten" of forums for grown ups that dont need to use four letter words to describe how great their devices are.

But back to your question, if you block the images then you are going to loose out on all the wonderful photos of beautiful devices and great how to's with step by step photos on set ups. Im sure there is a way, and someone will come by soon to instruct you.

If you click on Settings, top right, then General Settings, middle left, scroll down a ways to the Thread Display Options section and uncheck the category/ies you wish:

Thread Display Options
Visible Post Elements:
*Show Signatures
*Show Avatars
*Show Images (including attached images and images in code)
You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.
