How to build a 2 Ohm coil

I have a Kanger T3S that came with a stock coil at 2.2 Ohms. It's not giving me enough throat hit, even at 4.6 volts. What gauge wire would I need to build a coil at 2 Ohms keeping in mind that my wick would have to be 3ml as per specifications. A thinner wick would cause a leak by leaving a gap at the slot where the wick rests. Thanks everyone in advance.

I think 30 gauge on the Lil blue screw driver will give u 2ohm with around 8 to 10 wraps. Its been a long time since I did one. With 28 it will be tight to get in. These numbers should put u above 1.5 at least. Of not right. One wrap will add about .2 ohms. I think. Again it has been a while. I use cotton as a wick. So the 3mm isn't that important to me. As always check these numbers with a resistance tester. There is also a thread with some useful numbers for protanks. Which have the same head. Oh and it was my favorite clearo till the tank frosted. After that it was all glass everything for me. U could try taking the flavor wicks out. And the stock wick. Get some peaches and creme yarn from walmart. Wash or boil it. cut a piece off. Twist the end. And slide it through the coil while turning the yarn. Trim the edges. And it shouldn't need a flavor wick. There may be a drop or two on the battery. But it wipes away easy. If u can't find a good yarn. Try cotton balls or pads. Getting the cotton just right with those is a Lil more difficult. It rakes practice. When done correct. U shouldn't have leaks.

Thanks eazye for the suggestions. I will look into them. BTW, what's the Lil blue screw driver, one of those used in eye glasses? Also, my T3S has two wicks, one goes through the coils and a tiny one sits on top to prevent splashing into my mouth. By flavor wick you mean the one going through the coil? Thanks again.

The flavor wick sits on top of the coil. You might also consider using braided cotton wick material. I have used this for almost a year with good results.
