How to change Email alert preferences?

ive been talking in the running giveaway thread and EVERYTIME someone post a message. I receive an email. I'm wondering where I go to change that? Thanks

go to your profile, choose Alert Preferences in left pane and uncheck what you don't want to receive in Receive an alert when someone.............

while in your profile you may want to check out other stuff and learn how ot customize your experience here a little bit.

Thanks for your response. I've been to alert setting and choose what I want than when I hit submit it says I'm not allow to view this page?

try to sign out then sign in again, see if that fixes anything.
