1. Put atty in a cup.
2. Pour Diet Coke in cup just enough to cover atty (a little bit really!) (Coke shouldn't be flat)
3. Swirl vigorously over a sink. Some soda will spill out.
4. Swirl for 15 seconds.
5. Rinse under water.
6. Blow out the water in atty
The reason I don't leave an atty in Vinegar or Vodka overnight is that I've noticed that any longer than a few hours means the liquid starts to interact with the atty coils. Yes, its "Cleaning it" but its also damaging the coils over time.
Most of the performance issues with an atty should be able to be removed through a vigorous swirl in fizzy soda water. Any longer and you start to mess with the atty IMO.
I've used this method to vape on a LR 1.5ohm 306 for 4months straight. I clean it about once a day.
